Overview
The Translator Space allows users to easily translate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files — or large blocks of text — from one language to another using a simple interface.
This feature is currently in BETA. It may change before general availability, but it is targeted to be high quality and stable. Documentation may lag behind feature updates. Use in production environments at your own discretion. Please refer to our Upgrade and Release Process for more information.
If you’re unable to access certain features or sections of this article, it’s possible that your firm doesn’t have access or hasn’t upgraded to the latest version. Please reach out to your internal support team for further assistance.

Step-by-Step Guide
How to Translate a Document
The assistant does the following actions:
Navigate to the Translator space in the side navigation bar.
Click on the button ‘Document’.
You can either drag & drop your file into the area below or click on the ‘Upload File’ button to select a file to upload for translation.
Please wait for the file to upload; this process may take a few minutes.
Choose the language you would like the document translated in the dropdown and click on the button below the file ‘Translate’.
If your language is not listed, please contact the admin of your organization, as they are responsible for deciding which languages are available for translation. 6. Wait until the document has been translated (this may take a few minutes) and then click the 'Download' button to download the translated document.
How to Translate Text
Click on the button ‘Text’.
Choose the language you would like the text translated in the dropdown.
Click on the button ‘Translate’.
Tips & Tricks
- Use short, cleanly formatted source documents to preserve layout.
- Use the “Text” option for fast translation of short blurbs or messages.
- For best results, avoid using heavily stylized fonts or embedded images in source files.
- When translating text, simply click the 'copy' button to quickly copy the text.
Limitations
- Only supports Microsoft Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), and PowerPoint (.pptx).
- PDF and other file types are not supported.
- Language options are restricted to those in the dropdown; contact your admin for others.
- Translated files may experience some layout disruption.
