**🚀 3. What’s New (Business/End-User Focus)**

**🔧 Improvements**

- User **Copy Markdown**: When copying Markdown text, the fully rendered content is now copied instead of the raw Markdown syntax.

- User **Context Window**: Context window feature requires the user to have `chat.knowledge.read` role assigned for it to be active.

- User **Improved Missing Space/Chat Handling**: A toast is shown when navigating to a space or chat that does not exist to the user, instead of an error page which was disruptive.

- User **Chat read-only mode:** Chats are displayed in read-only mode when users open chats with spaces they no longer have access to, preventing message sending or document uploads.

- User **Retry failed upload in chat:** A "Retry Upload" button has been added for failed file ingestions in the chat interface, allowing users to quickly reattempt uploads.

- User **Magic Table File Dropdown Naming:** Correctly pluralizes added file names including Question File(s), Source File(s), and Export File(s).

- User **Sync Magic Table Assignee List with Shared Sheet User List:** Updates potential assignee list when users are added or removed from a Space.

- Admin **Enhanced Tool Configuration**: Admins can specify in tool's configuration that it is exclusive, automatically deactivating all other tools.

- Admin **Permission Propagation for Knowledge Base Subfolders**: Implemented permission propagation, allowing read/write permissions set on a folder to automatically apply to its subfolders.

- AdminBETA **File Metadata Ingestion Configuration**: Added support for defining metadata in ingestion configs, automatically applying it to newly uploaded Content. Updates to ingestion config metadata only affect future uploads.

**🐞 Bug Fixes**

- User **Embedding call token limit exceeded during ingestion:** Fixed an issue where embedding failed during ingestion of files with long texts due to exceeding the token limit.

- User **Microsoft Document Intelligence (MDI) rate limit recovery:** The ingestion worker now automatically retries using exponential backoff when an MDI rate limit is reached.

- User **Ingestion of copy-protected PDF files:** A new mechanism has been implemented to enable the ingestion of PDF files with basic copy protection, eliminating the need for manual removal.
